One of the most popular pop singers Taylor Swift added seven new dates to her massive Reputation tour. Also, she made a sharp decision to shut down the “The Swift Life” social network app on February 1st, 2019, one year after the launch. Her fans used the app to follow her life and career and get exclusive pics, videos and news they won’t get anywhere else.
The Swift Life app was launched immediately after the singer’s sixth album, Reputation. The album debuted on the first place of the Billboard chart on December 2, 2017, and for four weeks it took the Number one place.
Such big popularity of the singer led to the fact that she went a step further and developed a much better application than other social network platforms. Thanks to the application, fans could not only communicate with each other but, most importantly, with the performer herself. The first to receive exclusive content, wallpapers, and emoticons. Fans could also track the life of the favorite singer.
Taylor Swift took care of strengthening ties and increasing the number of her fans from the very beginning of her career. “The Swift Life” application allowed her to do it more effectively. Unfortunately, after only about a year of work, the singer decided to abandon it, and the application will no longer be available from February 1st, 2019.
